To qualify for The Certificate in of Hairdressing (EduQual Level 3) candidates must be 17 years and older. The candidate must attend an interview at Cayman Career Academy.
The classes are done on Monday to Friday Full time from 9a.m to 12p.m or Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Part Time from 6p.m to 9p.m

In the Certificate in of Hairdressing (EduQual Level 3) students will understand all aspects of basic hairstyling techniques, shampooing and conditioning services , hair treatments and blow drying and the use of hot tools in styling hair. Students will be taught how to provide hair dressing services at the Cayman Career Academy school clinic on real life clients. This will help them to understand how to perform various hair techniques to address a diverse ethnicity, which are represented in the Cayman Islands. They will be required to complete a workbook indicating they have completed and understood all units. Learners will be taught how to consult with clients, overall management of a hair dressing salon. They will learn how to become employable and to understand what is needed when applying for a job by using a professional CV along with a portfolio of all the various hair dressing technical skills. They will learn proper sanitization and sterilization processes in the hair salon. The scope of practice will be clearly defined according to the Cayman Laws.
To provide candidates with the required information and qualifications to be able to provide hair dressing services efficiently and effectively in a salon. The course is designed to give candidates the most comprehensive training in shampooing, blow drying, treatments and updos and prepare them for career including how to run your own hair business.
