Diploma Overview

The CIDESCO Post Graduate Diploma is awarded to candidates who have passed practical and written examinations and have completed at least 2 years  of professional spa experience (a reference letter from the employer is required). CIDESCO Diploma holders also receive a CIDESCO badge that is instantly recognized worldwide as a sign of excellence. The diploma is issued from CIDESCO headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland when students meet all requirements. CIDESCO Beauty Therapy students at the CCA, must complete the following programs and examinations:

CIDESCO  Beauty Therapy Examinations

Facial Examination

• Knowledge of all types of facials 
• Specialized Skin analysis 
• Facial Electrotherapy using advanced electrical equipment 
• Eyelash and eyebrow tinting - Eyebrow shaping 
• Facial massage - including Manual lymph drainage for face and neck. 
• Mask treatment 
• Make-up 
• Basic Manicure/Pedicure

Body Examination

• Body analysis
• Body therapies, with and without electrical equipment
• Exfoliation with salt and sugar scrubs, and body polish
• Body massage
• Waxing

Project With Case Histories

• The Project has its value in the practical examination and the pass mark is 70%

Written Examination

This exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) from all parts of the CIDESCO Theoretical Training Programme, for example:

• Natural Science
• In depth Anatomy and Physiology, dermatology, physics, electricity
• Skin/Dermatology
• Cosmetic Science - product ingredients
• Nutrition
• Aesthetic Treatments
• Business Studies
